UPDATE FROM THE RDC KOLE DISTRICT

Kole District is very calm, without any Corona Virus case, all the 55 samples that were tested were all negative.
In our 6 DTF Meeting, we resolved to incorporate Woman MP Kole District to the task force, Who also delivered 20millions Ugx to the District Task force yesterday.
The MP also donated a standby emergency Ambulance to the District Taskforce.
Among other items also delivered to the task force yesterday was
34 bicycles donated by the an NGO called Union of Hope, which were intern distributed to Expert Clients who distribute ARVs to HIV affected persons.
Other donations are as follows
Jersulam school of Nursing LIRA, donated 100 litres of fuel
Oil Energy donated 70litres of fuel to the District Task Force
Shine Energy Corner Morlem ( Aboke) donated 100 litres
World Vision 59 boxes of bottled water, and Sodas, 50,000 internet data and 50,000 airtime, 10 handwash buckets
German Cooperation (GIZ) also donated to Kole District Task force 8 New Mattresses for the Isolation centre, 8 bedsheets, 8 blankets, 10litres of handwash sanitizers, 30litres disinfectants, 78 cartoons of Sodas and 30 boxes of biscuits.
Mukwano Group of companies also donated to the DTF 5 pairs hand washing facility
The Office of the Prime Minister OPM delivered the following items to the Kole District Task force (DTF) 2 tones of Posho, 160kgs of Sugar, 3 cartoons of salt, 9 boxes of Lato milk, 5 hand washing facilities, 5 jerrycans and 5 basins, 2 boxes of Soap.
All these items have been partly used by District task force and the rest stored for appropriate management and distributions
