Department Goal
To provide equitable, inclusive, and quality education services that empower learners, strengthen human capital, and contribute to the sustainable development of Kole District.
Department Executive Functions
Supervise and coordinate education sector activities in line with national policies and district development plans.
Ensure effective implementation of Universal Primary and Secondary Education programs.
Monitor school performance, infrastructure development, and teacher deployment across all education institutions.
Promote accountability through timely reporting, inspection, and stakeholder engagement.
Support capacity building for education managers, head teachers, and school governing bodies.
Core Services Offered
Infrastructure Development: Construction and rehabilitation of classrooms, latrines, and staff houses to improve learning environments.
Teacher Management: Recruitment, deployment, and performance appraisal of teaching staff in coordination with the District Service Commission.
Inspection & Supervision: Routine monitoring of schools to ensure compliance with education standards and curriculum delivery.
Community Engagement: Mobilization of parents, school management committees, and local leaders to support education initiatives.
Data & Planning: Collection and analysis of education data to inform planning, budgeting, and policy formulation.
